Having consolidated system resources into one centralized lab, McLaren Medical Laboratory is able to perform testing with greater efficiency, more cost effectiveness, and ultimately to provide more timely results, helping to improve patient care. All McLaren hospitals continue to offer in-house laboratories to conduct stat testing needed for inpatient treatment decisions as well as full-service blood draw and surgical pathology services (if currently providing this service).
