Graduate of an approved school of Nursing School. One year of current experience in Surgery, Circulating or Scrub. Minimum of one year experience in ICU, ER, Cath Lab, or Telemetry unit w/surgical patients. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, Ability to read, write and speak English. Has general knowledge of all areas of nursing practice. Demonstrates mature judgment, initiative and proficiency in nursing skills. RN licensure required. BCLS required for al units, ACLS required for certain units.
Primary Duties
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of patient care provided to an assigned group of patients. Indirectly supervises all nursing personnel assigned to the group of patients for whom he/she is coordinating.
