Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance or closely related field.
Five to ten years grant writing experience in a health care setting preferred; grant research skills; and experience in grant program management.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required due to contact with federal and local sources, employees, physicians, and the community in grant seeking and grant-writing process.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, plan and organize quickly and efficiently. Ability to use computerized programs such as database, Microsoft Excel and Word, and other communication software programs.
Primary Duties
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the POH Riley Foundation, the Grant Writer is responsible for working with POH Regional Medical Center Staff in the preparation of grant proposals on behalf of the Hospital.
