Graduate of an approved school of Nursing. Two to three years of experience in Med/Surg. Experience in other areas ie: ICU, Step-down, ER, or Telemetry unit w/surgical patients preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, Ability to read, write and speak English. Has general knowledge of all areas of nursing practice.
Demonstrates mature judgment, initiative and proficiency in nursing skills. RN licensure required. BCLS required for all units, ACLS required for certain units.
Primary Duties
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of patient care provided to an assigned group of patients. Indirecly supervises all nursing personnel assigned to the group of patients for whom he/she is coordinating.
