Must have successfully completed the examination of the National Board for Respiratory Care.
1-2 years of experience preferred.
Exhibit ability to communicate and work with physicians and staff, to improve the quality of patient care. Exhibits attitude of cooperation and professional courtesy to physicians, patients and hospital staff.
Exhibits professionalism and competency in all areas of respiratory care. Maintains competency in the principles of respiratory care including indications, contradictions, and hazards of all procedures performed.
Demonstrates proficiency in CPR and must be certified on BCLS.
Primary Duties
Supports their department supervisor in upholding hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Serves as a role model in the rendering of patient care. Functions at the highest level of performance in every aspect of respiratory care.
