Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required
Professional certification as a Case Manager-preferred
Three years of prior work experience
In an acute care setting serving a similar population of patients or prior Case Management experience in an acute care setting.
Primary Duties
The Case Manager facilitates the achievement of patient outcomes in the ER within effective time frames and with appropriate use of resources. Case Managers act on behalf of the patient in assuring that the needed interventions are being obtained.
