<BR>
<b>Cardiac Catheterization Lab Profile:</b><BR>
* Consists of 5 labs, one of which is a combined lab for EP and Endovascular interventions<BR>
* Cardiac interventions include: Heart Catheterization, Angioplasty, and Stent Insertions<BR>
* Rhythm management - Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT<BR>
* Involved in clinical research and new cutting edge technology<BR>
<BR>
<b>Position Summary:</b><BR>
Responsible to see that the plan of care meets the physiological, emotional and spiritual needs of the patients served. Directs patient care, utilizing videnced-based protocols, through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Assists in the coordination of patient care through the appropriate utilization of all resources: staff, equipment, supplies, etc., resulting in achievement of quality and safety inititives and attainment of producctivity targets. Responsible for achieving compliance of Core Measure and Patient Safety/Quality initiatives that are relevant to this care area.<BR>
<BR>
<b>Required Education/Experience:</b><BR>
1.  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.<BR>
2.  Possess minimum of 5 years related unit experience.<BR>
3.  Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership performance.<BR>
4.  Demonstrated experience in team building skills, self-directed work teams.<BR>
5.  ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire/transfer)<BR>
<BR>
<b>Preferred Education/Experience:</b><BR>
1.  Specialty certification. </td>
