<b>Position Summary:</b><BR>
Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures. Performs variety of ultrasound procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative.<BR>
<BR>
<b>Required Education/Experience:</b><BR>
1.  Two years of formal education/training beyond high school at an approved medical sonography program.<BR>
2.  6 months to 1 year of job-related experience.<BR>
3.  Registration as Diagnostic Sonographer required or certification completed within 12 months of accepting position.<BR>
4.  CPR certification.</td>
