  • McLaren Port Huron offers several scholarships to employees who are committed to the lifelong learning and career development process. These funds are available because of generous employees who donate to the ETC and community donors who have an expressed interest in supporting the enrichment of health care professionals.

    If you are pursuing a college degree in the health care field and would like to apply for a McLaren Port Huron health care scholarship, the following scholarships are awarded to students to assist with tuition, purchase of books, lab fees or room and board expenses.

    • ETC Scholarship (MPH Employees)
    • Employee Scholarship (MPH Employees)
    • Demashkieh Family Scholarship
    • Shirley Jardine Carter Memorial Scholarship for Rehab Services
  • McLaren Port Huron Scholarship Application

    Recipients will be announced by May 12th. Recipients may be eligible to apply for renewal. Students from the Blue Water Area will be given first consideration.

    McLaren Port Huron and its health care partners have awarded scholarships to 27 students pursuing degrees in professions represented in the hospital and the community. Since 1988, 551 recipients have received $657,800 through the scholarship program.

    Scholarships are funded by the Carter family, Demashkieh family, McLaren Port Huron Auxiliary, Goldbold family, McLaren Port Huron Employees That Care Club, and McLaren Port Huron Foundation.
