McLaren created our senior behavioral health units to address the special needs of seniors who are experiencing emotional and behavioral changes. The units provides a safe, secure environment essential to successful inpatient psychiatric treatment.
The senior behavioral health units at McLaren services adults 55 years of age and older who have a psychiatric diagnosis and in need of stabilization in an acute care setting. Our program is designed to meet the unique needs of elderly patients, including those who, in addition to a psychiatric diagnosis have also received a diagnosis of dementia or memory-impairment.
