Our Mission of Service
Most people experience a mental health concern sometime during their life. Whether you have depression or another mood disorder, anxiety, a psychotic disorder, or a co-occurring substance abuse disorder, it should be addressed promptly and completely by mental health experts you can trust. MBPA can provide you peace of mind and the wellness you deserve in a comfortable and safe outpatient environment. In fact, MBPA began with your concerns and care in mind. In 2001, a local group of psychiatrists had a vision of an agency that would provide comprehensive, psychiatric services - focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and commitment from physicians and staff to ensure the well being of all our patients. Since 2012, this vision and tradition of clinical excellence continues under the McLaren Bay Region network. MBPA offers the following outpatient programs: Psychiatric Services, Therapy, and Case Management.
Psychiatric Services
MBPA Psychiatric Services program provides evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education and care for individuals with mental illness. Outpatient Therapy
The MBPA Outpatient Therapy program provides recovery oriented, strengths focused treatment to adolescents and adults to assist them in reaching their full potential emotionally, mentally, and socially. Our qualified staff of compassionate, caring therapists addresses various mental health disorders, as well as co-occurring substance abuse disorders, utilizing a multitude of evidence based practices.
Case Management Services
Case Management is a community and home based program responsible for the coordination of community services for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Case Management provides support, advocacy, and linkage to resources in such areas as mental health and cooccurring substance abuse disorders, health services, housing, financial services, employment, education and social services. Case Management Services are available to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness living in Bay County.
