McLaren Greater Lansing

McLaren Greater Lansing is a tertiary teaching facility with 240 acute care beds, located in Lansing, Michigan on the southern edge of the Michigan State University campus.

Among its services are a Level III Trauma Center/Emergency Department, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute, comprehensive cardiac programs, medical/surgical units, and state-of-the-art women and children’s health services including a modern birthing center. Also located at the healthcare campus is the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Greater Lansing, an outpatient care center, a health and wellness center, and the Izzo Family Medical Center.

The mission of McLaren Greater Lansing is:

To foster a spirit of inquiry throughout the hospital, cultivate teaching and development of competent physicians serving the Mid-Michigan community.

Each year, MGL sponsors over 100 residents and fellows in its 8 programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We are also proud affiliates of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and College of Human Medicine. The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) provides institutional oversight and support for all students, residency and fellowship programs.

PGY-1 = $57,165.00
PGY-2 = $58,879.95
PGY-3 = $60,646.35
PGY-4 = $62,465.74
PGY-5 = $64,339.71
PGY-6 = $66,269.90
PGY-7 = $68,258.00
PGY-8 = $70,304.74

McLaren Greater Lansing will only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Paper applications are not accepted.

All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA, or must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident who is eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship.
