Dear Counselor:
Thank you for your interest in providing services at the Helen M. Nickless Volunteer Clinic. As you are aware, the Bay City area has a large percentage of non-insured and under-insured persons. The Volunteer Clinic is attempting to address mental health needs for those who cannot afford the care. All of the health care provision is uncompensated and provided by volunteer community health care providers such as you. Currently we only provide Mental Health counseling on Wednesday evenings during our regular medical clinic, however other arrangements can be made.
