What makes us unique?
- We offer a comprehensive diabetes clinic. Our team will help manage the patient's diabetes medications, provide one on one dietary counseling, and continuous glucose monitor placement.
- We have physicians who are certified in lifestyle medicine. They help patients reduce their medication requirements, live healthier, longer lives, and simply feel better.
- Our physicians are heavily involved in the community, offering medical care to Carriage Town Ministries, Street Medicine to the homeless population and outreach programs in the Flint area elementary schools.
- We offer home visits.
- We provide dental health assessments for our pediatric patients.
- We offer medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Our doctors are licensed to prescribe suboxone for patients as well as expecting mothers who qualify.
- We have a daily Walk-in Clinic for same-day appointments.
Our clinical team consists of:
- A geriatrician who works in conjunction with a team of mental health specialists and physicians to take care of our elderly patients through our specialized comprehensive geriatric assessment clinic. Our team also cares for our patients when they are admitted to a nursing home, offers referrals to nursing homes, and provides home visits for our elderly patients.
- A Board-certified Gynecologist/Obstetrician.
- A Family medicine physician who is fellowship trained in women's health.
- A Women's Health Nurse Navigator who will guide patients through questions, identify resources, and serve as a liaison between the patient and the health care team. Our navigator also helps patients overcome barriers to care — whether they're financial, schedule-based, or personal.
- A Lactation consultant who specializes in caring for moms who are breastfeeding or considering breastfeeding. She can help from before baby is born until the final weeks of weaning. She assists with common nursing problems including increasing milk supply, finding the best nursing position, and managing breastfeeding pain, infections, and clogged ducts.
- Behavioral Medicine Specialists who provide mental health care and management to help patients deal with common mental health illnesses, chronic stress, sleep problems, and smoking and alcohol cessation. Sessions are brief and function-focused assessments and interventions aimed at improving patients' health and wellbeing. Outpatient services also include referrals to outpatient psychotherapy and psychological assessments.
- All of our physicians are trained for office-based procedures.
Our physicians perform a variety of common procedures right in the office, including:
