If you are new to our clinic or an established patient, our experienced providers are here to help. Our team is led by a board-certified neurologist and patient nurse navigator.
Whether you are looking for confirmation of a multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis or Central Nervous System Immune disorder (CNS), a second opinion regarding diagnosis, or a specialized care provider, the McLaren Flint MS and CNS clinic can answer your questions, and offer the disease management and care you need.
Multiple sclerosis is complicated because no two cases are exactly alike. Each person will differ in their symptoms, how often and severe their relapses are, and in the progression of their disease. As with many other chronic illnesses, early detection is key to minimizing the damage MS does to the body and keeping it at bay.
Multiple sclerosis management requires comprehensive interdisciplinary care and may include:
- Treating exacerbations (relapses/flare-ups)
- Modifying the disease course with prescription medicine therapies
- Managing (visible and invisible) symptoms
- Rehabilitation programs
- Providing social and emotional support
This interdisciplinary care also encompasses our Nurse Navigator who will:
- Gather status information from you during each appointment
- Assist with any outpatient I.V. therapy needs
- Connect you with community resources
- Help answer questions
