About

John Cramer M.D., is a head and neck surgeon at Karmanos Cancer Institute. He is board certified by the State of Michigan and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Cramer's education includes a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and a Medical Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship and an Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Residency at Northwestern University. He pursued further fellowship training in advanced head and neck cancer and skull base surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as an educator teaching medical students, residents and fellows. He has published a number of journal articles on topics focusing on the quality of care in head and neck surgery and has presented on these topics at national academic meetings.
