About
Dr. Ashim Wadehra is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon. He is a native of Metro-Detroit and obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. He then attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Wadehra completed his residency training at Beaumont Wayne Hospital where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then went on to complete a specialized fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at the American Health Network.
Dr. Wadehra has extensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction including total ankle replacement, arthroscopy, foot and ankle trauma, flatfoot reconstruction, cavus foot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, complex forefoot pathology, as well as nerve surgery.
He is well published with several publications in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Podiatry Today.
