Committee Descriptions:
Quality and Clinical Integration Committee: this committee is comprised of clinicians. The purpose of the committee is to make recommendations on quality programs and processes. It is responsible for internal reporting on quality and efficiency, promoting evidence based medicine and beneficiary engagement.
Finance Committee: this committee is comprised of both administrative personnel and clinicians. The purpose of this committee is to monitor and review the financial performance of the ACO and make recommendations to the Board of Managers on finance issues including, but not limited to, financial distributions, incentive programs, processes, and guidelines.
Utilization Committee: this committee is comprised of clinicians. The purpose of this committee is to provide recommendations on utilization programs, processes and guidelines. It is responsible for internal monitoring and reporting on cost and efficiency, promoting care coordination and cost reduction.
Regional Steering Committee: this committee is comprised of leadership of the regional McLaren hospital(s), ACO management team and ACO professionals. The purpose of this committee is to review monthly ACO performance data and monitor progress toward goals, support performance improvement, take appropriate action as necessary, and provide input and recommendations to the ACO Board.
