"Bearly" Sick child care is available on the Pediatric Unit at Port Huron Hospital, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for children of our Women's Wellness members. The program is for children ages 6 months to 14 years.
Once you are registered for the program, if your child is ill or has a minor injury and you are not able use your regular child care provider, or they are not able to attend school, you may call the Pediatric Department at McLaren Port Huron at least two (2) hours prior to the time you wish to bring in your child. Care is available only if beds are available on the unit. When you call we will let you know if space is available. We are not able to accept children with highly contagious diseases.
If you have to work, or have a commitment that you can not miss, it's comforting to know that your child will be cared for by our trained staff.
