Description
The Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory provide services which include:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Angiography
- Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
- Venography
- Cardiac pacemaker insertions
- A variety of non-vascular interventional procedures.
Both inpatient and one-day outpatient services are provided.

Description
Provides services to diagnose and treat the heart and heart-related issues. The staff uses non-invasive techniques to look at the heart, arteries and veins.
Vascular Testing
We are proud to offer Oakland County's most comprehensive and accurate vascular services. Our laboratory operates under a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program (correlating laboratory, angiography and surgery). We have been accredited by the Intersocietal accreditation commission for vascular ultrasound since 2006.
Upper and Lower Venous Doppler:
A non-invasive ultrasound procedure used to evaluate deep and superficial veins of the arms and legs to determine the presence or absence of a deep or superficial vein thrombosis and or venous insufficiency.
Upper and Lower Arterial Doppler:
A non-invasive ultrasound procedure used to demonstrate blocked or reduced blood flow through the major arteries of the arms and legs.
Cerebrovascular Doppler (Carotid Doppler):
A non-invasive ultrasound procedure to evaluate or determine blocked or reduced blood flow in the arteries of the neck that can cause a stroke.
Renal Artery Duplex:
A non-invasive ultrasound procedure to evaluate blocked or reduced blood flow to the kidneys.
Abdominal Aorta Duplex:
A non-invasive ultrasound procedure used to evaluate the abdominal aorta and iliac arteries, to determine the presence of occlusive disease and/or aneurysm.
