• US-127 Construction Project Affecting Traffic Around McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital Campus

    The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) US-127/I-496 and I-96 to I-496 reconstruction project is a major project that will impact the routes to access the McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital campus. McLaren has worked closely with MDOT to ensure the hospital campus remains easily accessible for our patients and visitors. In 2024, MDOT completed the reconstruction of the northbound lanes and this year they will be working on the southbound side of the highway.

    Here's what to know to help you prepare for your upcoming visit:

    March through November 2025: US-127 Southbound Lanes Are Under Construction

    • All traffic traveling north and south will be utilizing the newly constructed northbound side (NB) of the highway with two lanes open in each direction.

    March through June 2025:

    • The Southbound ramp to Dunckel Roud will be temporarily closed March through June 2025. Please follow the posted detour routes.

    Our patients and visitors are a top priority. Our hospital campus will always remain open and accessible during this project.
