US-127 Construction Project
Affecting Traffic Around McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital Campus

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) US-127/I-496 and I-96 to I-496 reconstruction project is a major project that will impact the routes to access the McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital campus. McLaren has worked closely with MDOT to ensure the hospital campus remains easily accessible for our patients and visitors. In 2024, MDOT completed the reconstruction of the northbound lanes and this year they will be working on the southbound side of the highway.

Beginning September 15 through November
The Jolly/Dunckel Road Southbound Exit Ramp will be closed to traffic and Forest Road will be closed completely to traffic. Please seek alternative routes posted by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
Jolly/Dunckel Exit Ramp Closure
Starting Monday, September 15, the southbound Jolly and Dunckel Road ramp will close as part of the ongoing highway reconstruction project. The ramp is expected to remain closed through November to allow crews to connect it to the new southbound freeway.
Forest Road Closure
Forest Road will be closed completely to traffic starting Monday, September 15 through October 3 to allow crews to complete the construction on the road and bridge.
Please seek alternative routes and follow the detours posted by MDOT.
