McLaren Oakland and the McLaren Oakland Foundation are committed to providing potentially life-saving access to all eligible women through their Free Mammogram Program.
Since 2007, McLaren Oakland has provided more than 4,000 mammogram screenings-free of charge-to women who might not otherwise have access. As a result, more than 50 cases of breast cancer were discovered and diagnosed.
To qualify for a free mammogram, women must:
"¢ Be uninsured or underinsured
"¢ 40 years or older-physician order is not required for screening mammogram only (Under 40 years, physician order required)
"¢ Resident of Oakland County with proof of address
"¢ Have a social security card
"¢ Meet eligible income criteria
