Friction-Reducers: Patran

Friction Reducing Sheets - Patrans should be used with all patients

Should be used when a patient requires assistance moving up in the bed, turning, and can be used for lateral transfers
Should be removed from under the patient when not in use (keep tucked at the foot of the bed)
Blue Patrans are the standard size patrans.
Pink Patrans are for Bariatric patients only.
Kept in clean utility rooms throughout hospital
