PORT HURON, Mich.—Marwood Nursing & Rehab, the 240-bed long-term nursing and rehabilitation facility and a subsidiary of McLaren Port Huron hospital, has earned recognition for its level of high quality, compassionate care by being listed in “2023 America’s Best Nursing Homes.” Ranked by Newsweek and global data research firm Statista, Marwood was also designated as a top-five nursing facility in Michigan.
Marwood is the only St. Clair County-based facility to earn inclusion on this list.

Rankings took into account several factors, including a facility’s reputation and various performance data, along with a COVID-19 measurement. Consideration was also given for facilities accredited by leading health care quality accrediting organization The Joint Commission.
