McLaren Caro Region is pleased to welcome Howard Nitz as the new Program Therapist at their Senior Life Solutions program.
Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults typically ages 65 and older struggling with age-related depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, a recent health diagnosis, or the loss of a loved one. As Program Therapist, Howard, will be responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions. He will focus on quality patient care and provision of services ordered by a physician.
Howard graduated from both The University of Michigan and Michigan State University’s Social Work Programs. Prior to joining the team at McLaren Caro Region Senior Life Solutions, he worked as the Director of Social Services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Mr. Nitz, said, “I am so thankful for the opportunity to offer services to an at risk population and show honour and respect to our community seniors.”
