DAVISON, Mich.— McLaren Health Management Group has named Tammy Hempfling, BSN, RN, vice president of Homecare. As vice president of Homecare, Hempfling will oversee all statewide McLaren home health care operations.
Hempfling joined McLaren in 2012 and has held several leadership roles. Hempfling served as regional manager for Lansing, Mt. Pleasant and Davison and concurrently branch manager for Bay City home health services. In this role, Hempfling exceeded budget two consecutive years at Bay City, increased census for Lansing by 30 percent, and increased census for Mt. Pleasant by 50 percent. Hempfling also served as quality and education manger, case manager, and quality improvement specialist.
Before she joined McLaren Homecare, Tammy was the administrator of home health care as well as director of patient service for Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice. She also served as the director of nursing in the Bay City branch.

Hempfling is a member of American Nursing Association (ANA) and Michigan Nursing Association (MNA). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University.
