McLaren Northern Michigan Internal Medicine in Petoskey is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Tammy Broz, FNP, to the practice.
Tammy became a Michigander in 2011 when she moved to the Upper Peninsula. After visiting Petoskey three years ago, she felt at home and knew it was a wonderful place to work, play, and raise a family. “I grew up in a small town in Maine with a climate and sense of community similar to Petoskey,” she expressed.
Tammy received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Nursing. She chose to practice at McLaren Northern Michigan Internal Medicine because she wanted to practice medicine in the community where she lived, and because of the patient-centered approach to the care provided.
“I enjoy helping my patients set and achieve goals to help them stay or get healthy,” she stated. “I am very interested in the complex ways mental health can impact our physical health, and how I can support my patients’ wellbeing both mentally and physically.”
When not at the office, Tammy enjoys spending time with her spouse, two children, and her two spoiled dogs. She is an active participant in her church, band boosters, and volunteering at the Boyne Area Free Clinic. “My special interests outside of medicine are hiking, biking, traveling, sewing, and gardening,” she added.
Tammy is accepting new patients. To make an appointment, please call 231-487-2460.
