Sound Health: Music for the Mind and Body takes place Tuesday, November 12, 1:30 – 3 p.m., in the McLaren Port Huron Drew Classroom. This program is sponsored by Lions of Michigan and the Lions Club International Foundation.
Join McLaren Port Huron’s Diabetes Education team for an informational program about the benefits of music therapy. Guest speaker Holly Semrow, board-certified music therapist from Marwood Nursing & Rehab, will discuss how music activates the entire brain simultaneously and can be used to improve physical and emotional issues related to diabetes and other health conditions. Our diabetes educators will be available to answer questions. Lunch will be provided, along with nutrition information.
