McLaren Northern Michigan is pleased to announce that it is ranked in the top 10 of 164 hospitals in Michigan according to U.S. News & World Report.
Ranking is based on careful analysis of patient outcomes and care-related factors, such as patient safety and nurse staffing, from nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide. McLaren Northern Michigan was only one of two hospitals in the Northwest region to be ranked in the top 10.
Each hospital was evaluated and rated in nine specific procedures and conditions. McLaren Northern Michigan was rated as High Performing in seven, including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Aortic Valve Surgery, Colon Cancer Surgery, Heart Bypass Surgery, Heart Failure, Hip Replacement, and Knee Replacement.
