Mehboob Fatteh, M.D. is a staff Pathologist at McLaren Greater Lansing since 1981. He received his medical degree from Gujarat University in India, after which he completed internships and residencies at various hospitals affiliated with N.H.I., Municipal Medical School and K. M. School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research in India. After his residencies in India, Dr. Fatteh then completed residencies in anatomic pathology at Bristol Medical School, U.K., pathology at the Medical College of Georgia and a fellowship in forensic pathology at the Chief Medial Examiner's Office in New York. Previously, Dr. Fatteh, former Co-Chief and Co-Chief Elect of McLaren Greater Lansing's Professional Staff, served as Director and Partner of CAP-LAB, PLC, a private laboratory providing pathology and cytology services to mid-Michigan. Since 1981, Dr. Fatteh has held a clinical appointment as associate professor int he department of pathology at Michigan State University. Dr. Fatteh is certified in anatomic pathology, clincal pathology and special competence in immunohematology by the American Board of Pathologists. Dr. Fatteh has been married for over 40 years and has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. He enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also enjoys tennis and golfing.
