COVID/FLU TESTING TREATMENT

McLaren Now+Clinics offer express COVID-19 and Influenza testing and treatment.

Now+Clinic provides rapid PCR COVID/Flu testing with same-day results, and, as a part of the federal COVID-19 Test to Treat Program, also provides direct, express, on-site access to antiviral medication for those most at risk for severe complications from the virus through our partnership with Walgreens. 

To utilize the program, patients can schedule their appointment by selecting the select the “Test-to-Treat” appointment option. Then, patients will receive a rapid PCR COVID-19/Flu test—or they can bring in their own positive at-home COVID test—and will be seen by a provider. If the patient presents a positive test, has exhibited symptoms of the virus for no more than 5 days, and meets the eligibility requirements for antiviral medication, they will be prescribed with the medication which they can fill before they leave the Walgreens location. There is no cost to the patient for antiviral medications, and patients can use insurance for the cost of their Now+Clinic visit and COVID test. Cash price for PCR COVID-19 test is $75.

Currently, eligibility for COVID-19 antiviral medication is limited to those with certain medical conditions such as cancer, chronic diseases, disabilities, heart conditions, immunodeficiencies, and other factors. Only a qualified medical professional like the providers at McLaren Now+Clinics can make the determination on an individual’s eligibility.
