At Inpatient Rehab, there is an interdisciplinary team dedicated to promoting self- sufficiency and maximizing functional ability using a patient-centered approach. Typically, therapy at a Skilled Nursing Facility is given at a slower pace, less hours per day and performed more in a group setting, with the patients staying longer. In an Inpatient Rehab Unit, therapy will be given in a more intense pace, at least 3 hours a therapy per day and performed more on an individual basis, which allows the patient’s stay to be much shorter.
