Welcome to Our Internal Medicine Residency - McLaren Flint Program

  • A Message from the Program Director
    Kavitha Kesari, MD

The guiding mission and philosophy of the Internal Medicine Residency at McLaren Flint is to teach, inspire, and guide internal medicine residents so that they may develop into caring physicians, astute clinicians, and ethical professionals. Our program aims to inculcate principles of lifelong learning by promoting an environment of inquiry. Active participation in Scholarly activities such as quality improvement and research are a curricular requirement. Residents are provided training experiences in general internal medicine and its sub-specialties consistent with ACGME Program Requirements. A recently launched Cardiology fellowship provides additional educational opportunities and value to the program.

Our residents have a track record of successful board pass rates and attainment of subspecialty fellowships at prestigious institutions across the country. We are by your side on your journey to whatever future career path you choose, be it generalist, hospitalist or subspecialist.
