McLaren Central Michigan, part of statewide McLaren Health Care and a longtime comprehensive provider for the communities of Isabella County dating back to its time as Central Michigan Community Hospital, has added four esteemed and long-serving members of its past medical staffs to its Physician Hall of Fame.
Originally dedicated in 2006 with an inaugural class of 11 providers covering the hospital’s 82-year history, McLaren Central Michigan leaders have routinely added physicians to its Hall of Fame, growing it to recognize 30 past members of its staffs.
“The McLaren Central Michigan Physician Hall of Fame is a wonderful legacy full of tradition and honor,” said Robert David, McLaren Central Michigan President and CEO. “It is a special fraternity and awarded to physicians who make a tremendous clinical impact on the patients we are privileged to serve, and who have gained the recognition of their peers. This new class of physicians embody that spirit, and we welcome them with our congratulations and gratitude.”
Members of the Physician Hall of Fame are first nominated by their peers before a selection committee considers them for the honor of inclusion in the hall. Those newly inducted during an early-March event include:
