Congratulations to Vickie McAfee, housekeeper lead, environmental services, McLaren Flint's July Outstanding Employee of the Month. Vickie is known on third shift as a hard worker who can always be depended on to get the job done when it counts the most.
"Vickie has played a crucial role in ensuring patient throughput from ER to inpatient," said her nominator. "She’s always eager to help and solve any issue. She is well respected by staff all around the hospital. You can always count on Vickie to get an issue solved, and she always answers her phone and makes it a top priority to be available to anyone who needs to get a hold of her. Her hard work along with many years of service do not go unnoticed and are appreciated by staff from various units in the hospital."
