DISCLAIMER: The Graduate Medical Education Trainee Physician Agreement is posted here as a "sample only" to give applicants an idea of what to expect as a contracted employee of McLaren. The agreement is reviewed annually and thus the language is subject to change.
Application Procedure
McLaren Macomb requires all applications be submitted through the Electronic Resident Application System (ERAS). The programs at our hospital participate in NRMP, the AUA Match, and the CASPR/CRIP Match.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA, or must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident who is eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship.
COVID-19 Vaccines
McLaren Health Care complies with the healthcare worker vaccine mandate, which requires all workers, including residents, fellows, and visiting learners to be fully vaccinated as of March 15, 2022. If you have specific questions related to the program you are interested in applying to, please contact the program’s Academic Program Administrator.

This year, McLaren Macomb will be conducting virtual interviews for all programs, except podiatry. Each program will provide applicants with information and tips regarding the virtual interview process.
