The city of Caro, Michigan is located in the heart of Tuscola County. The community is home to many historic buildings and is proud of its rich history. Caro is the county seat of Tuscola County and services the citizens of the area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 4,229. The city is primarily a retail and commercial center but is also home to the first and only Ethanol plant in Michigan.
